    Dear Colleagues,

I hope this note finds you very well and gearing up for an eventful AOM in Boston. If your schedule is like mine, it's already getting a bit overwhelming – and this note is to add one more voice to the chorus of invitations coming your way. I would like to invite you to join Barnini Bhattacharyya and I for a critical conversation on the topic of intersectional invisibility during our caucus on Sunday 8/6 at 4-5:30p (Session 19105; Hilton, Maverick B).

This caucus aims to examine intersectional invisibility and who is perceived as worthy of attention at work. We have invited expert scholars on intersectional invisibility to be part of the conversation (including Marla Baskerville Watkins,  Samantha Erskine, Erika Hall, Jamie Ladge, and Kiera Hudson among others), as well as those who wish to learn and advance scholarship on this topic. Our discussion will focus on developing evidence-based research programs based on prior research and theory on intersectional invisibility, to advance this field of scholarship and build new knowledge on intersectional invisibility. We will also share resources and tools on how to have discussions on topics on intersectionality both in and out of the classroom, and reflect on how to manage these discussions effectively. Through this conversation, we hope to build new pathways and partnerships for developing the emerging intersectional invisibility literature in management.

We hope to see you there!

I acknowledge that Western University, my place of work and scholarship, is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Chonnonton Nations. This land continues to be home to diverse Indigenous peoples whom I recognize as contemporary stewards of the land and vital contributors of our society.
