We are seeking applications for a volunteer for the technology and communications team. In this role, you will generate the GDO job market newsletter, manage GDO social media accounts, and assist the technology and communications team with ad hoc projects. As a member of the technology and communications team, you are a GDO executive committee member, which provides great opportunities to connect with various members of the division while also gaining an insight into GDO Division activities. This is a two-year commitment and requires approximately 1 hour per week. The time commitment may increase in June and/or July while preparing the Job Market Newsletter.

Requirements

1. Must be a member of the GDO Division.
2. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
3. Familiarity or willingness to learn how to use Microsoft Publisher. (It's very easy!)

1. a) Why are you interested in being a member of the technology and communications team?
2. b) Why do you feel you are qualified for the position?
