My name is Cecelia Dotzler and I am a doctoral student in Organizational Psychology at Claremont Graduate University. The Claremont Center for Worker Wellbeing, run by Professor Gloria Gonzalez-Morales, is in the process of developing a symposium for the annual SIOP conference taking place in April, 2021 on New Perspectives on Eradicating the Gender Disparity in STEM. The symposium will focus on STEM-based academic, industry, and entrepreneurial settings. The symposium will highlight unique approaches to investigating this persistent phenomenon with the goal that all included papers focus on 'fixing the system' as opposed to 'fixing the women.'
