Greetings, everyone!
The CMS Newsletter July Newsletter is out now. We have special features on Copenhagen, including a list of Program Highlights for AOM 2025. One of our featured sessions is the PDW on Rooted Resistance: Advancing the Literature on Race, Gender and Self-Presentation, which is co-sponsored with the DEI division.
We also have a new series started by Daniela Aliberti called "Conversations That Resist: A Collective Autoethnography of Critical Management Lives" focusing on the themes that matter the most to us as a community. Episode#0 is titled "Female Solidarity and Our Microresistance", in which Daniela navigates the suffering placed on her by neoliberal patriarchal pressures through conversations.
PhD student Iresha Donmanige is also featured as an early career scholar in this issue. Her work explores how women in STEM in particular navigate and negotiate intersecting identities through career progression conversations.
If you have any questions or comments, or responses to any of the articles in the newsletter, feel free to email me at keshav.krishnamurty@iiml.org or keshav.krishnamurty@utoronto.ca.
