DEI travel grants 2026
Dear DEI (student) members,
In a time when travel budgets are tight or even canceled, and the DEI domain needs especially strong support, we are now offering 20 grants valued at $800 each.
We know the early-bird rate deadline is already on April 21st, and that many people will decide if they want to register by then. We thus thank you for your swift reply to this call by Monday, April 20st, 12 noon EST. We will make the decisions on the same day. The scholarships will then be transferred to recipients by the summer.
Mandatory criteria:
You are a DEI member or pledge to become one if you receive a travel award
You are presenting a paper or part of a symposia, PDW or other official form of participation
Priority will be given to:
Students
Members working in underrepresented countries in our membership
Members facing particualry high travel costs compared to purchasing power in their country of residence
