    Overview

    The School of Business and Law develops industry-ready graduates through high quality teaching and learning experiences and engaged, applied research. The School offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate, coursework and research Business and Laws degrees designed to give students relevant theory, practical work experience, and key employability skills. In 2018 and for the second year in a row, ECU received the top student experience rating of all public universities in Australia's Federal Government's Quality Indicators in Learning and Teaching (QILT) results. In the areas of Business and Management, ECU ranked number 1 public university for: overall quality of education experience; teaching quality; skills development; and student support.

    The School's Research Hub and Research Centres provide a space devoted to interdisciplinary research. Academics in the Management Discipline are associated with the Centre for Work and Organisational Performance (CWOP), which brings together active researchers who have an ongoing research agenda in various aspects of work and organisational studies. The Management Discipline incorporates teaching disciplines such as Management, Human Resource Management (and Employee Relations) and International Business.

    The role
    The School of Business and Law is seeking to appoint a Professor in Management who has significant academic leadership experience. Collaborating with other members of CWOP and other academics in the Management Discipline, the Professor will engage in high-level research, deliver grant income, conduct postgraduate research supervision, lead achievements in their field, and perform teaching, service and strategic engagement activities.

    Benefits & Remuneration
    This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of $186,721 pa (ALEVE) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
