Dear Colleagues,
Join GRDO SIG in Dublin 10-12th of June 2020 for the 20th, Anniversary of the EURAM conference!
Gender, Race, and Diversity in Organisations Strategic Interest Group is organized in three tracks.
The aim of the GRDO General Track is to advance and disseminate new scholarship and debates, which address all forms of inequalities in the global political economy. In addition, it aims at addressing how policy measures may be devised to nurture the inclusion of marginalised voices and work towards the social justice and well-being of all individuals and communities. GRDO covers all knowledge and content relating to gender, race, and diversity within and outside organisational boundaries, including cultural, societal, political, and geographical levels, to illustrate the intersecting dynamics of differences on several scales.
The Women, Gender, & Sexuality in Work, Organisation & Beyond track focuses on gender equality and women's empowerment in management, work and organization. We invite scholars and practitioners to submit papers that address 'women' issues in organizations from a variety of different perspectives.
The Migration / Identity / Power: Integration and Cross Cultural Management Challenges track focuses on the debate that organizational and societal diversity is increasing, with migration as a key contributing factor. Yet, often, we observe critical ideologies of difference and sentiments of presumed 'cultural difference' that exclude certain groups, such as migrants. Management thus needs to figure out how to meet integration challenges, how to value diversity and do justice to multiple cultures, and how to acknowledge the intersectionality of people's cultural and social identifications at work. We invite contributions that highlight critical effects and/or responsible practices, and that generally inform the management of culture, identity, diversity and migration.
It is timely that we are addressing an inter-generational research topic in 2020 when EURAM is celebrating its 20th anniversary and so nearly embracing a full generation of management scholars. So join us in Trinity Business School's new state of the art building on Trinity College Dublin's 400 year old stunning campus, at the centre of the vibrant European City of Dublin.
The more detailed programme will be posted on our website in due time.

For newcomers to our community: Our 14 SIGs are the building blocks of EURAM. SIG Chairs and Officers nurture communities of scholars who are engaged in specific research areas. There are three types of Tracks. General Tracks are the overarching tracks of the SIGs. Standing tracks are ongoing conversations that you can join, and which will continue within a SIG for several years. Finally, every year there are Tracks that are selected in a competitive submission and review process (they may become standing tracks in the future if they prove to be of continued interest). Each SIG General Track invites contributions from all areas related to the SIG specific research area but which are not explicitly covered by other tracks within the SIG.

Welcome to Dublin, the city of a céad mile failte - hundred thousand welcomes! Dublin is a vibrant European city with Viking origins which are both historic and modern. The city is home to famous traditional Irish pubs, seats of government, museums and theatres and many of the top global corporations. Trinity's historic campus is an oasis at the heart of the city, with Lonely Planet listing its Old Library as a 'must see'. We are looking forward to seeing you there in June.
Best wishes,
