Thanks to great insights provided by Alexandra! Here are some additional tips to help you prepare and enjoy the conference:

1. Before leaving home, plan to arrive early to get your jet lag, get refreshed, and perhaps do some sightseeing before the conference
2. Check the weather forecast in Boston to arrive with the correct type of attire, but make sure to have a light jacket or a sweeter for the cold conference rooms.
3. Download the Annual Meeting App to your smartphone and organize your itinerary based on the Division you have an interest for the current research.
4. Check out the free receptions that are open to you each evening and take advantage of them to socialize and network
5. If you feel tired, lost, have lots of questions, stop by first-time attendee room
