    (With apologies for cross-postings!)

Andri Georgiadou (Equality Inclusion Diversity or EQUIDY Center in Cyprus), María-Alejandra González-Pérez (EAFIT University in Colombia), and Miguel R. Olivas-Luján (Clarion U. of Pennsylvania) edited two scholarly books recently published as part Emerald's Advanced Series in Management (Bingley, UK). Both Georgiadou and Olivas-Luján are GDO members.

Titled Diversity within Diversity Management, both books offer a global description of diversity initiatives in all inhabited continents. Country-based Perspectives is the running title for the first of these volumes, which is composed by eighteen papers, focusing on seventeen different countries. Thirty-seven authors contributed to this volume with both empirical evidence and theory from places as little seen in the management literature as Afghanistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, and Venezuela, to name a few. Papers focused on a wide cross-section of industries including semiconductors, higher education, gastronomy, and others. It was published in April.

Types of Diversity in Organizations was published in May, containing thirteen articles that deal with such creative research ideas as "dog pawternity," a term that refers to both the work that dogs perform at the service of humans and the work benefits that humans derive from pet-friendly work environments. Theoretical contributions as well as empirical analyses from twenty-nine authors complete this volume that should be of interest to researchers and students of diversity and inclusion in management. They are available in both digital and paper formats, directly from the publisher as well as via online booksellers.

Now in its twenty-second volume, the Advanced Series in Management is a scholarly book series edited by Tanya Bondarouk (U. of Twente, The Netherlands) and Miguel R. Olivas-Luján (Clarion U. of Pennsylvania). Publishing about two volumes per year, it is indexed in Scopus as well as the Thomson Reuters Book Citation index. Prospective volume authors should visit Emerald's website for ASM or contact either Series Editor for more information.
