Dear International Faculty Job Seekers,

I am writing to invite you to consider participating in a faculty-led, IRB-approved qualitative study on how international faculty job seekers in the United States make sense of their academic careers amid changing immigration policies and faculty hiring practices.

You may be eligible if you

1. have applied for full-time faculty positions in the U.S. since September 2025, AND 

2. hold a non-immigrant visa status (e.g., F-1, J-1, or OPT), AND 

3. require H-1B sponsorship through a change of status or extension within the U.S.

Participation involves a voluntary 60-minute Zoom interview, and all responses will be kept confidential. Participants will receive $20 Amazon gift cards upon completion of the interview.
