I am delighted to invite you to our presenter symposium titled "Novel Insights on the Impact of CEO Gender on Managerial Discretion" at the upcoming Academy of Management 2025 Annual Meeting in Copenhagen.
This symposium seeks to advance our understanding of how CEO gender shapes managerial decision making across a variety of organizational contexts. We have assembled four thought-provoking working papers that explore this topic from multiple angles. In addition, we are honored to be joined by a distinguished discussant whose scholarship has made significant contributions to this area of research: Donald C. Hambrick (Pennsylvania State University).
