Greetings colleagues,
I am excited to invite you all to a critical and thought-provoking symposium featuring some of our community's finest scholars titled:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policies: A Stakeholders and Backlash Perspective (Session 13819)
Monday, July 28 1:45 p.m. -3:15 p.m.
Bella Center in Hall C- C3-m12
The goal of this symposium is to step back and provide a clearer understanding of who the stakeholders are that influence decisions regarding the adoption of DEI initiatives, as well as how these initiatives are received among stakeholders inside and outside organizations. Specifically, we aim to bridge the gap between literature and disciplines related to DEI, stakeholders, and the narratives surrounding these initiatives to enhance our understanding of the theoretical and practical applications of DEI in the workplace. Finally, we seek to gain a deeper understanding of the roots of potential DEI backlash and lay the groundwork for future research.
