Last call for nominations for the 2025 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Junior Faculty Consortium! Self-nominations are welcome.
The consortium will be in person and will occur on Saturday, July 26 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM CET during the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Junior Faculty Consortium will include a diverse mix of speaker panels and participative roundtable discussions designed to provide junior faculty with a realistic, open, and honest understanding of being a faculty member studying and teaching about DEI, including: publishing diversity research; tips and takes on having impact in areas such as teaching/mentorship, and navigating the current DEI landscape.
Participants will also have the opportunity for more personalized connections and feedback through a mentor-match to be held after the consortium (or at another mutually agreed upon time), in which participants are paired with a more senior scholar based on the participant's research interests.
We expect an enrollment of about 25 junior faculty, and the application deadline is June 16, 2025. Junior faculty meet the criteria if they have not previously been tenured, are in an academic role, and received their PhD less than 10 years ago. Preference will be given to more junior applicants and those who have not attended a prior DEI JFC.
All applicants are expected to stay for the entirety of the consortium, so please avoid being double-booked. You may contact the organizers with questions or to submit nominations.
