Please join us for the 'Meet-The-Scholar' video series with well-published and prolific entrepreneurship scholars. Our goal in this series is to understand these scholars as a 'person' and get a glimpse into their research journey. These scholars are widely read and extensively cited. Their work inspires and motivates us. Yet, we rarely get to know the actual person behind the papers that shape the conversation in the field. The semi-structured interviews were conducted as part of the Virtual Summer Seminar in Entrepreneurship Research 2021.
The interviews are semi-structured, and have three parts. First, the prominent scholars answer questions from the interviewer on how they got into the profession, the research they do, and the opportunities and challenges they faced in publishing it. Second, prominent scholars answer questions from the VSSER participants. Third, the prominent scholars share their advice for aspiring entrepreneurship researchers. There is much to learn from the experiences and insights of these successful scholars. As Isacc Newton famously observed, "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." We invite y'all (as we say here in Alabama) to join us in learning from scholars who have already successfully published influential work. We hope these engaging video interviews will inspire and motivate everyone to do high-quality research.
