Organized by the MSR Research Committee, co-hosted by Konstantin Weicht (Tzu Chi University, Taiwan) & Naida Culshaw (GEM Alpine Business School, France).
What happens when you infuse a scholarly community with nearly 100 emerging voices from across the globe? Between 2019 and 2023, the MSR Fetzer Scholarship Program supported 96 scholars from 28 countries-many of whom lacked university funding-to bring their research and spiritual energy to the Academy of Management.
Join the MSR Research Committee for a special reunion and webinar as we unveil findings from our five-year Impact Study. This session is more than a retrospective; it is a forward-looking dialogue on the future of our field. Through "Paired Lightning Talks," Fetzer Scholars and senior mentors will share reflections on how emerging voices have shaped the field, influenced the division's leadership, and created a "spiritual home" for research that brings meaning, values, and purpose to organizational scholarship.
Who should attend?
-
Past Fetzer Scholars: Reconnect and celebrate the collective impact of your work.
-
Senior Mentors: Reflect on the evolving landscape of MSR scholarship.
-
MSR Members: Engage in conversation on MSR's growth through the energy and leadership of emerging scholars.
-
Newcomers: Discover a supportive community for research on the significant and the sacred.
Whether you were part of the inaugural 2019 cohort or are just beginning your journey with us, your presence is what makes this community a true spiritual home. We look forward to a soulful reflection, shared wisdom, and the joy of seeing how our collective voices continue to resonate across the field. Please join us as we celebrate the heart and spirit of MSR.
See you all on February 25! π ππ
