Dear GDO Colleagues:
I would like to bring a recently published article to your attention. This article is on career transitions ("Making Sense of Different Perspectives on Career Transitions: A Review and Agenda for Future Research"). It has some explicit implications for diversity scholars, but there are also many implications for diversity scholarship that one can draw for oneself. There are a lot of directions for future research that involve diversity that might be of interest to our GDO community.
The authors made the article open-access, so you can just click on this link and you will be taken to the article:
Sullivan, S. E., & Al Ariss, A. (2019). Making sense of different perspectives on career transitions: A review and agenda for future research. Human Resource Management Review, https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1053482218306788
But if you are like me and would prefer just to have an attachment, I have attached a copy of the article to this message. I hope that this article will stimulate thinking about the overlap between diversity and careers and perhaps some great research in that area!
Best regards,
Gayle
