Dept of Management, Fogelman College of Business and Economics, U of Memphis is searching for the position of Chair of Excellence in Free Enterprise Management. Rank is at the level of Associate Professor or Professor in Management. Candidates with specialization in OB/HR or strategic management will be considered; primary research interests in topics such as workplace diversity and inclusion, discrimination, and bias or board/leadership diversity and corporate ethics/misconduct will be given preference. Responsibilities include effectively teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting doctoral seminars, mentoring doctoral students and faculty, maintaining a strong research program, procuring external research funding (grants and contracts), building connections with the business and academic community, and fulfilling professional and University service duties.
The Free Enterprise CoE position is in addition to our current search for the position of Wang Chair of Excellence in strategic management and international business. We also have four new assistant professors starting in the fall, three of whom do research in D&I. To apply, please go to:
