The Davis College of Business & Technology at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management.
The individual hired for this position must be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate (MBA and/or DBA) courses in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Our undergraduate OB course is a DEI-intensive course, so GDO members may be a great fit for teaching in our curriculum.
The teaching load is typically three courses per semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid and/or online deliveries in undergraduate, Master's and/or Doctoral-level programs. In addition to teaching responsibilities, engagement in scholarly academic intellectual activities that result in high-quality peer reviewed publications is required. The individual will also be responsible for student advising and mentorship, contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, and engaging in other service activities.
JU is a private university on Florida's first coast. Our college is the Davis College of Business & Technology, and we house not only the traditional business disciplines, but also communications, engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, aviation, and more, so we have really
interesting opportunities in the college. JU is about 4000 students, grad and undergrad, and we have undergrad, Grad2Grad (4+1 MBA), MBA, MSOL, EMBA, MSABA, and DBA programs in the Davis College, and we are AACSB-accredited.
