The post
Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the work of Prof Greta Bosch, Prof Ruth Sealy, Dr Konstantinos Alexandris-Polomarkakis and Dr Rebecca Helm on an interdisciplinary project based at the Law and Business schools at the University of Exeter, investigating the causes of the BAME (Black, Asian, and minority ethnic) attainment gap in legal professional services qualifications. Tasks will involve reviewing literature and data relating to attainment gaps across disciplines and conducting qualitative and quantitative empirical research.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a systematic literature review, designing interview and survey instruments, conducting interviews and administering surveys, and conducting analyses of resulting data using a range of qualitative and quantitative techniques. In addition to conducting research, the successful candidate will contribute to research team discussions and updates, contribute to the preparation of the presentation of work to the funder and stakeholders, and contribute to workshops, reports, progress updates and other events associated with the project.
