The School of Management at University College London (UCL) invites applications for one three-year post-doctoral research fellowship (PI: Dr. Cydney Dupree) and one two-year post-doctoral research fellowship (PI: Dr. Raina Brands) to begin on September 1, 2024 (start date flexible).

One post-doctoral research fellow will be expected to work with Dr. Cydney Dupree on a research program related to diversity, inequality, and/or inclusion (broadly defined). The other fellow will be expected to work with Dr. Raina Brands on a research program related to social networks, diversity, equity, and/or inclusion.

Fellows will contribute to ongoing research projects and initiate new projects. They are expected to become actively involved in UCL SOM's intellectual community by participating in reading group, workshops, and research seminars. They will also lead the organization of an academic conference on diversity. Positions will prepare fellows to subsequently apply for research-oriented faculty positions in management or related fields.

Successful candidates will be recently awarded or nearly completed a PhD in Management, Psychology, or a related field. They will have expertise in quantitative research methods, excellent data science skills, and demonstrable interest in diversity, inequality and/or inclusion (PIs: Dupree, Brands) and social networks (PI: Brands).

For more information about each post, and to apply, please see here (PI: Dupree) and here (PI: Brands). Applications will be accepted until January 29, 2024.

As London's Global University, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation, and we want our community to represent the diversity of the world's talent. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where we all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in UCL's workforce. These include people from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds; disabled people; LGBTQI+ people; and for our Grade 9 and 10 roles, women. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as they are under-represented within UCL at this level.
