    Hello Amazing Colleagues

We make a difference not only through our research – but also through our teaching.  Many of us teach diversity – either through specialized courses or by integrating diversity into our HR/OB/General Management courses.   We know the power of education.

So two action items.  The first is to push our schools to offer courses in diversity (if they do not currently do so).   Now is the time to do this!  Statements of support are great.  Action is better.

The second is incorporate diversity more fully into our HR/OB/Mgt courses.  Experiential exercises are particularly potent for changing hearts as well as minds.

Towards that end, can GDO offer a repository for diversity exercises on their website?  There are a few syllabi listed under "teaching resources" – but this can be expanded.  It would also be great if they could offer a special folder for online/hybrid diversity courses (since COVID is pushing us to teach our diversity courses online this fall).

I love this quote by Nelson Mandela: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"

As educators – we have the power to make a difference!!  Lets use it!

    Love to all of you,

    Belle
