Dear GDO members
As we struggle to manage a global health crisis, the world has witnessed the terrible deaths of several Black Americans (George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery) that reflect a crisis of racism that is a painful constant in our history and present. We, the Executive Committee of the GDO Division, write to condemn the persistent injustice exemplified by these most recent acts of violence and police brutality. We understand that members of our division are angry, hurting, and exhausted. We are listening. We hear you. We are committed to working together towards justice.
