We warmly invite you to submit your paper to our track theme Sub-theme 64 titled "Revealing and Addressing Unaccounted Configurations of Inequalities in the World of Work" at the 40th EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies) Colloquium, scheduled to take place in Milan from July 4-6, 2024.
Research on workplace inequalities often focuses on salient identities and visible forms of discrimination. However, significant gaps remain in our understanding of new, emerging or implicit inequalities across diverse sociocultural and organisational landscapes. This gap hinders the development of impactful initiatives to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
Our Sub-theme 64 welcomes conceptual, empirical, and methodological papers that draw on various theories and research methods to explore new, emerging or hidden dimensions of inequalities in various organisational contexts in the Global North or Global South. We are particularly interested in how EDI initiatives can reveal and address these inequalities.
This Sub-theme welcomes participants in a HYBRID format, which means that online and onsite participation is possible, making it more inclusive. We are excited to receive diverse contributions and look forward to engaging discussions during this hybrid event.
