Position Title: Assistant Professor of Management
Job Description:
Oakland University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management in the area of Human Resource Management. The position will begin in August of 2020. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, or a related discipline or field of study by the employment start date. Candidates with demonstrated interests in the functional areas of HRM, especially Compensation & Benefits are preferred. Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, pursuing a program of research leading to publications in major academic journals in management and related fields, and university service including committee and outreach activities. Attractive candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute effectively on these criteria. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Minimimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior or related discipline (ABD must provide documentation that defense will occur prior to August 2020)
