The Department of Management in the Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University invites applications for one tenure-track position in the area of Organizational Behavior and Management at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin on September 1, 2022. This position carries a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, so candidates with a research and/or teaching background in DEI are strongly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a standard teaching load of 3 fall/3 spring classes, with 13-week semesters over the 10-month work year. Additional summer teaching opportunities are available (for both in-person and online courses). In addition to teaching, the candidate is expected to be involved in program development and assessment, preparation for AACSB accreditation, and advising undergraduate students in the Norm Brodsky College of Business. Tenure-track faculty members are also expected to conduct research leading to publications in quality refereed journals and serving on Department, College, and University committees. Summer research fellowships and other research funding will be available.

The candidate should hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or Organizational Behavior (or a closely related field) by September 2022. The candidate must show strong potential in teaching as well as research skills consistent with AACSB standards. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses such as Workforce Diversity and Fundamentals of Management and Organizational Behavior. Other possible teaching opportunities include human resource management courses appropriate to the candidate's specialty as well as management courses in the MBA and Executive MBA programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to effective teaching, research, and interaction with students of all levels.
