Attached is my spring syllabus (the undergraduate class did not have the two additional assignments for graduate students). I will Sandberg's "Lean in" in the fall and is seriously considering using Invictus for the movie assignment. Hope this helps.

My new textbook, "Managing Workplace Diversity and Inclusion," recently became available. It is published by Routledge.
Early chapters cover conceptual background and methods with later chapters aimed at applications. It's aimed at advanced undergrads and graduate students.

    Please request a review copy.

    Hey Gwen
Thanks for posting this question to the list. I am also interested in the responses. I like Martin Davidson's book The End of Diversity As We Know It but I use it with exec ed professionals and MBAs.
Looking forward to seeing other responses

    Hi Gwen,

I am working now on the fifth edition of Women and Men in Management for Sage, which focuses on sex/gender issues in the workplace and how they intersect with race, class, sexual orientation, age, etc. It will be published next summer, which doesn't help you now but may in the future.

    Best wishes,

    Gary

    Hi Gwen,

Hope you're having a good summer!

I've attached the syllabus for my graduate-level course. You may get some ideas there. Also, take a look at the June issue of Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, which has a great special section on diversity edited by Caryn Block and Debra Noumair. (I've also attached my article included in that section, on the paradoxes of inclusion.)

Like others, I'd love to see a summary of all the information you gather.

    Best,

    Bernardo

I like Oscar's suggestion of Myrtle's book -- not sure if she is in the 2nd or 3rd edition.

I give another endorsement for Myrtle Bell's book. It was very easy for me to build supplemental readings around it. I also like Powell's book on gender in combination. That could lead to what is REALLY (IMHO) needed in diversity education...intersectionality. We have got to stop slicing and dicing...we are all "messy mashups of identity!"
