Dear Colleagues,
My name is Samantha Hancock, I am a PhD Candidate in Organizational Behavior at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON, Canada. In collaboration with Dr. Winny Shen at the University of Waterloo, we are conducting research on the Queen Bee Phenomenon.
Specifically, we are interested in understanding points of agreement and disagreement with regards to what constitutes Queen Bee behavior and whether or not members of the scientific community who study gender and diversity issues believe this is a real phenomenon in organizations or a myth perpetuated by the popular press. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes of your time. If you would like more information, please click the link below to proceed to the information letter and consent form. The survey will remain open for two weeks, until December 12, 2017, at midnight EST.
If you know of anyone else in your professional network who may be interested in participating, please feel free to forward our email to them. If you have questions at any time about the study or the procedures, please contact us, Dr. Winny Shen, at winny.shen@uwaterloo.ca or Samantha Hancock at hanc7610@mylaurier.ca. Thank you very much for your assistance with our research, it is greatly appreciated!
