    Leadership in Knowledge Organizations: Perspectives on Talent Management & Diversity

    March 5 - March 8, 2018

    TUM School of Management, Munich

     

    The TUM Spring School on Leadership in Knowledge Organizations: Perspectives on Talent Management & Diversity is your opportunity to present an (early-stage) project and to get feedback from internationally renowned researchers in the field. There will be plenty of opportunities for scientific exchange as well as a wide range of workshops on different research methods, held by experts in the field. 

     

    The Spring School facilitates scientific exchange on research topics around Talent Management and Diversity including Recruitment, Leadership, Success Factors in Academia, Women in Science and in STEM Fields. We cordially invite interested PhD students and post-doctoral researchers who are doing research on the above-mentioned or related topics to participate.

    PROGRAM

    ·         Science Slam: Participants introduce themselves and present their research

    ·         Thematic Workshops on Recruitment, Leadership, Success Factors in Academia, Gender (e.g., women in science or STEM fields) and Diversity

    ·         Methodology Workshops on Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods (e.g., qualitative interviews, diary studies, observational studies, field studies, experimental studies, conjoint analysis)

    ·         Practical Workshop and discussion on "Challenges in translating research findings into practice"

     

    APPLICATION

    Application is open until 31st January 2018. Please apply with a short CV (max. 2 pages) and a project description of a research project you want to present (max. 1,5 pages, double-spaced). We encourage submissions of research projects in early stages. We will respond to all applications within the first week of February.

     

    FUNDING

    There will be no participation fee for accepted participants. Catering for lunch and coffee break will be provided free of charge. Furthermore, you can apply for 200 Euro travel grants, which we have for a limited number of participants.

     

    The Spring School will take place within the context of the FührMINT project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF; FKZ: 01FP1602).
