The Management/Human Resource Management Department of California State University, Long Beach is recruiting two Assistant or Associate tenure-track faculty members with research and teaching interests in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Labor Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or General Management (with emphasis in Human Resource Management or related subjects). The position is available August 2015. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. (degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2015), demonstrated ability and/or potential to teach Human Resource Management courses and related management subjects effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels, demonstrated potential for scholarship leading to publication, and potential for curriculum development and service contributions to the department, college, university, and community.
Applicants must also demonstrate a commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population. Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience at the university level; related business, professional, or managerial experience; potential to develop relationships across the university's surrounding community; and published research in the field.
