Call for authors: Book on Women and Leadership

Jean Lau Chin is editing a book on Women and Leadership to be published by Blackwell Publishers.  This book is a culmination of a yearlong Presidential Initiative on feminist leadership within the Society for the Psychology of Women of the American Psychological Association.  The initiative organized in three sections on Theories and Models of leadership, Collaboration as a Process, and Diversity in Leadership captures the leadership issues and experiences of almost 100 feminist women psychologists, and has resulted in chapters on:
    Feminist Principles and Leadership
    Communication Styles
Leadership as change to promote social justice and equity within APA and internationally
Women and Leadership: A different experience? From the perspective of past APA presidents
    Training of women as leaders
    Leadership in Higher Education
Leadership among diverse women including chapters on racial/ethnic groups, disability, and lesbian women

The manuscript is due to the publishers by 5/1.  We need one or two additional chapters to round out the book and reflect women and leadership in the corporate world.  If you are interested in contributing a chapter with a fast turnaround date, please submit an outline to me as soon as possible or contact me for more information.
