Dear Friends and Colleagues:
I am going to cross-post the following to several academy lists where members may have an interest in the topics of spiritual diversity, ethics, and leadership.
Last year at the Academy of Management in Hawaii, I took part in a symposium organized by Professor Mark Kriger titled, "Leadership for Adaptive Organizations: Models from the Christian, Hindu and Buddhist Traditions: Spiritual Leadership.
I presented along with Professors Mark Kriger, Barbara Grey, and J.Lee (who kindly stood in for Andre Delbecq). Presenting with my colleagues was both inspirational and memorable and the lunch that followed with Mark and Barbara and others was an uplifting and a wonderful experience for me. As the new year starts, I have decided to put the article that I presented at the Academy on my website and make it available to a broader audience. The url is given below. I have not promoted the website but it has been picked up by a number of directories and search engines over the last five years. I believe that the homepage of the site currently has a google page rank of 5/10.
http://www.harshasatsangh.com/ Look in the upper right hand corner where it says "New for 2006" and click on that and it will bring you to the article with the title "The Hindu Epic Mahabharata:
Krishna as a Transformational Servant-Leader". At the end of the article, the url for citing the article is given.
The exercise of writing the article was a labor of love, and I thank Professor Mark Kriger for motivating me and encouraging me to write it as part of the symposium. What would we do without friends?
Thank you,
Harsh K. Luthar, Ph.D.
