Hi --
If you're looking for a review of the group diversity literature that's an update on Milliken & Martins (1996), Daan van Knippenberg and Michaéla Schippers have a forthcoming
Annual Review of Psychology
chapter that is excellent. I'm not sure if it's ready to distribute yet but it's something to look for very soon:
van Knippenberg, D., & Schippers, M. (In press). Work group diversity.
Annual Review of Psychology
.
Another great review of themes and trends in the workplace diversity literature is Ragins & Gonzalez (2003):
Ragins, B.R., & Gonzalez, J.A. (2003). Understanding diversity in organizations: Getting a grip on a slippery construct. In J. Greenberg (Ed.),
Organizational behavior: The state of the science
(pp. 125-163). Mahwah, NJ: Lawrence Erlbaum Associates.
