    The Lehman Brothers Centre for Women in Business

     

    The Lehman Brothers Centre for Women in Business at <st1:placename w:st="on">London</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype> is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant / Research Fellow with interests in business, innovation, careers and gender at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">London</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place>.  This post is for one year with the possibility, subject to performance, of a further one year extension.  The research project is directed by Professor Lynda Gratton of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">London</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place>.

     

    Working under the guidance of Professor Gratton the successful candidate will focus on a project looking at how women as leaders of teams and members of teams foster innovation and how women perceive their promotability, as well as other projects on related themes within the Centre. The post will offer substantial opportunity to both participate and contribute to the project and the Centre.

     

    The successful candidate will have a PhD or a good Master's degree from a leading institution and have a strong quantitative background in survey methodologies and skills in multivariate data analysis with work in studying issues such as gender, teams, innovation, career development, and performance.

     

    Candidates should provide in their application a detailed outline of how their experience and training would enable them to contribute to the research project and details of their own research, if relevant. The post is to begin as soon as possible.
