    Two Open Rank Positions - Department of Organizational Studies
    Area of Organizational Behavior
    JR# 6079

    The Department of Organizational Studies at the University of New Mexico
    invites open rank applications for two positions whose primary area of
    expertise is in Organizational Behavior, but the department will
    consider a secondary interest in Strategy. The appointment(s) begin no
    later than August 2007, subject to budgetary approval. The successful
    candidate(s) will be responsible for teaching courses at the graduate
    and undergraduate levels.

    The Anderson Schools are AACSB accredited. Management programs enroll
    approximately 1100 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students.
    The Schools emphasize collaborative student interaction, active adult
    learning, team experiences, and scholarship that draw upon a variety of
    methodologies and subject areas. New Mexico is an ethnically diverse
    state with a rich cultural heritage. University of New Mexico seeks a
    diverse faculty who can contribute to the University's mission and
    values.

    Minimum qualifications: *
    * Applicants must have a Ph.D completed no later than August 2007
    in Organizational Behavior or a related management field;
    * Applicants must show evidence of or promise of a significant
    program of research and scholarship.
    Preference will be given to candidates with:
    * Publications in scholarly journals on topics related to
    organizational behavior
    * Evidence of or potential for research in a variety of paradigms
    and research methodologies, including qualitative research
    * Evidence of or potential for excellence in experiential or
    interactive teaching methods in organizational behavior
    * Evidence of or potential for excellence in working with
    multicultural constituencies
    * A primary area of emphasis in Organizational Behavior, with
    possible secondary interest in Strategy
    * Compatibility with current departmental teaching and research
    needs.

    joining the ASM faculty and your qualifications for the position (see
    Minimum Qualifications and Preferences above);
    2) a current vita;
    3) evidence or promise of research and teaching effectiveness
    including sample articles/publications and sample instructor
    evaluations; and
    4) the contact information of at least three references - including
