My college of business is at the beginning stages of considering offering a
Minor in Diversity. A quick on-line search found several Diversity Minors
offered by other disciplines, but few for colleges of business.
I would love to avoid reinventing the wheel if possible. Given budget
realities, the fewer new courses that need to be created, the better. We
currently offer the following courses that may (or may not) be part of the
minor: Managing Diversity in the Workplace, Ethics, International Management
(although we already offer a Global Business Minor). In addition to course
work, it is expected that the minor would have some sort of experiential
component. If your college of business offers a Minor in Diversity (broadly
defined), or if you know of one, please share as much information as
possible. I would be happy to summarize to the list.
Additionally, the idea of colleges of business offering a diversity minor
may make a nice discussion thread.
Thanks in advance for your help.
