    Dear GDO Colleagues:

I have two purposes for this message.  The first is to encourage you all to go to the zoomerang site that Myrtle already sent to you (but here it is again, just in case:  http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=U25XBEAAQJAD) and vote on the revised GDO domain statement.  I happen to think that the revised statement does an excellent job of delineating what GDO is about, and I voted, so if you don't agree, you'll definitely want to cancel out my vote!

The second purpose is to thank the committee members for all of their hard work on revising the domain statement.  I think what you have written shows a real "coming of age" of research on diversity.  We are no longer focused on specific groups, but instead on a full range of variables that, separately and jointly, constitute diversity.  Thank you all for the time you spent on this project.

And please remember to go vote, y'all.  This isn't like my state, Florida, where you can vote and never know if your vote actually counted-this is the real thing.  --  Gayle
