RAWLS ENDOWED PROFESSORSHIP IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The Rawls College of Business at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Texas</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Tech</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place> invites applications and nominations for the Rawls Endowed Professorship in Human Resource Management, effective Fall 2008. The appointment requires academic credentials and experience sufficient to qualify for the rank of associate or full professor with tenure. Salary is competitive.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline (e.g., I/O Psychology) is required, coupled with the ability to contribute to the human resource management curriculum, strong teaching and scholarly experience, and the ability to pursue scholarly activities independently and collaboratively.
We seek an academically qualified scholar of national stature, with a focus that emphasizes human resource management. Appointment will be as an associate or full professor in the College's Area of Management, depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs and research, and participation in academic and professional activities.

Research and teaching are supported by the <st1:personname w:st="on">Institute for Leadership Research</st1:personname>, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business, and the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Texas</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place> for Innovative Organizations. Our faculty has received many teaching honors and awards from the college, university and professional organizations.
