    CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Research Handbook on Gender and Negotiation

    Edward Edgar Publishing, UK

    Editors:

Mara Olekalns (Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne, Australia)

Jessica A. Kennedy (Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University, USA)

We are seeking proposals for chapters to be included in the Research Handbook on Gender and Negotiation, to be published by Edward Elgar in 2019.

We welcome diverse and interdisciplinary perspectives on gender and negotiation.  At present, we aim for the book to have three sections.  The first section is designed to draw from behavioral economics, the second section describes career negotiations, and the third relates to social issue negotiations, such as those that take place outside the workplace (e.g., spousal negotiation).  Please see the attached file for additional details on chapter guidelines and a potential time frame.

Interested parties should submit a 500-word proposal of the chapter topic to genderneghandbk@gmail.com by June 15th.

Proposals should resemble a chapter abstract and describe why the topic of interest is important and how the authors will provide new insights or perspective on the issue at hand.

Thanks for your time considering this call!  Please see the attached file for further detail.  Apologies for cross-postings.
