The Clarkson University School of Business, an AACSB accredited institution, seeks candidates for a tenure-track or tenured (all ranks considered) faculty position starting in Fall 2008 in our Organizational Studies group. We are seeking dynamic, research-oriented candidates to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior. Interest and ability in teaching courses relating to negotiations, organizational change, and innovation/entreneurship is a plus. Clarkson University takes an interdisciplinary approach to undergraduate education, and has nationally ranked programs in supply chain management and innovation/entrepreneurship.
Clarkson is a nationally recognized research university. The organizational studies faculty members have published in leading management journals including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organization Science, and Personnel Psychology. The teaching requirement for tenure-track faculty is two courses per semester. Salary is competitive and negotiable based upon qualifications. Quality teaching and scholarship are required for tenure and promotion.

Located on the Raquette River in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, Potsdam is close to two unique Canadian cities, Montreal and Ottawa. Potsdam provides easy access to a wide range of winter outdoor activities, including the Olympic venues in Lake Placid, and water recreation on the St. Lawrence River.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will hold an earned doctorate in organizational behavior or closely related field. ABD candidates near completion will be considered.
