    The Management and Human Resources Department at <st1:placename w:st="on">California</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">State</st1:placetype> <st1:placename w:st="on">Polytechnic</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype>, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Pomona</st1:city></st1:place> (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications for one or more tenure-track faculty positions in entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, and business communication. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications. The appointments will begin Fall 2008. 

    The Positions:  The entrepreneurship candidate will be expected to teach courses in introduction to entrepreneurship, creating business plans, emergent ventures, and family business. The organizational behavior candidate will be expected to teach courses in organizational behavior; leadership; and men, women and management.  The business communication candidate will be expected to teach courses in business communication.  The positions require excellence in teaching and advising, scholarly publications, and service to the university.  The successful candidate will demonstrate ability for participation in professional and scholarly activities, for participating in department, college and university service and for working with a diverse student body and multicultural constituencies.

    Application Procedure:  A completed application will consist of:

    An electronic copy of the following:

    ·        a cover letter that describes the candidate's teaching and research experience and interests and that addresses the duties and qualifications articulated in the position description;

    ·        a curriculum vitae comprised of at least those elements specified on the application form and including the names, titles, addresses, and telephone numbers of at least five individuals who can speak to the candidate's potential for success in this position;

    ·        statement of teaching philosophy and course syllabi; and

    ·        student evaluations, if available
