QUEEN'S SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
is inviting applications for a tenure track position in Organizational Behaviour/Human Resources (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels).
Members of the Queen's School of Business Organizational Behaviour Group are interested in how organizations and their members build, maintain, enhance and damage professional connections and the effects these can have on individual, group, and organizational well-being. Our faculty members are widely acknowledged as leaders in areas of research such as organizational alliances, conflict and negotiations, cross-cultural management, occupational health, leadership, and work-family issues. Some of our interests include trust in organizations, transformational leadership and well-being, safety, careers of female business graduates, the social context of collaboration, workplace aggression and conflict, human resource management in China, arbitration, and claiming and using credits at work. Our faculty are members of prominent editorial boards (e.g.,
Journal of Applied Psychology
,
Journal of Management
,
Organization Science
,
Strategic Management Journal
), editors or past-editors of major journals (e.g.,
Journal of Occupational Health Psychology
), and authors of leading textbooks (e.g., International Management Behaviour, Negotiation).
The School has a Research Pool designed to give students first hand exposure to current behavioural research, and is administered through a website where researchers can post their studies and students can sign-up.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Candidates must have a PhD or be near completion. Applicants must exhibit high potential for innovative scholarly research and for outstanding teaching contributions in support of the School's various programs.
COMPENSATION
: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointees have access to substantial internal funds both for research and course development through Queen's School of Business Research Program and the Faculty Development Fund.

THE CITY
: Kingston, Ontario is a unique Canadian city of 125,000 with a distinct blend of history, recreation, industry and learning. Situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, it is within a two-and-a-half hour drive of Toronto, Montreal, and the nation's capital, Ottawa. Kingston is a thirty minute drive from the international bridge linking Ontario and upstate New York, and another ninety minutes from Syracuse.
This is an international search, open to candidates of all nationalities. However, in accordance with Canadian Immigration requirements, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
