The Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at <st1:place><st1:placename>New York</st1:placename> <st1:placetype>University</st1:placetype></st1:place> seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member in Management, focusing on Macro Organizational Theory and Strategy, to begin in Fall 2008. The position is open to all ranks . Applicants should have strong theoretical and practical research interests in the study of organizations and/or strategic management and the ability to teach effectively to Masters-level students who will work in the nonprofit, public, and health sectors, as well as doctoral students in public and nonprofit management. Applicants must either already possess a Ph.D. or expect to receive their Ph.D. before the position begins. Teaching experience in strategy, organizational structure and design, and other topics in organizational theory is a plus for candidates at the Assistant level and required at more senior levels.
NYU Wagner has a unique focus on the intersection of management and public policy at the organizational, local, regional, national, and international levels. Current full-time Management faculty come from diverse backgrounds, including organizational behavior, organization studies, sociology, political science, health management, and public and nonprofit management. We also have collaborations with other schools across the university, including the Stern School of Business.
