  • 1.  Help! - do you know the source of this quote?

    Posted 01-14-2008 17:46

HI all: My co-authors and I are using the quote listed below in a submission for AoM (thus, it is due tomorrow!)

"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."

We know it is from Martin Luther King, Jr. but we do not know the source from which it came.

If you know, please contact me soon.

    Take care, <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Lynn</st1:place></st1:city>

I think it was his "Silence is Betrayal" speech given at the Riverside church, April 4 1967. It was a speech on his opposition to the Viet Nam war.

You can watch a video of the speech on You Tube, and I think it's also on John Edward's web site.
