GMU Diversity teaching/training conference

    Hello friends,

I have organized a conference on diversity teaching, training, and
research (on diversity teaching and training) for this summer (July
10-12). It is described in more detail below and on the web site
(som.gmu.edu/diversity). Briefly, I'm trying to help shrink the
research-practice gap in the domain of diversity education, by bringing
together people who teach higher education courses on workplace
diversity, those who do diversity training in the workplace, and those
who do research on diversity teaching and training. This will be the
second year for the conference. Participants were enthusiastic about
last year's offerings and I think this year's will be substantially
better. The registration fee is quite inexpensive and we got a great
deal for a Hilton hotel that's right on the Washington DC Metro line. I
    hope you can join us.

    Cheers,
    David Kravitz
