ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR AND MANAGEMENT FALL 2009
Rider University’s College of Business Administration invites
applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Organizational
Behavior and Management at the rank of Assistant Professor (or
Associate). Appointment in the Department of Management and Human
Resources begins September 1, 2009. The successful candidate will have
completed a PhD or DBA in OB/MGT by that date. The selected individual
will demonstrate promise as a scholar and teacher. Teaching includes
introductory courses along with some upper level undergraduate electives
and MBA courses. Strong teaching skills and the ability to interact well
with undergraduates, part-time MBAs and EMBAs are important. An interest
in facilitating the development of leadership skills is a plus.
Additionally, it is expected that the successful candidate will develop
and sustain a strong program of research. Evidence of capability to
publish in refereed outlets is expected.
Established in 1865, Rider is a medium-sized private university in
suburban New Jersey near New York and Philadelphia. The College of
Business Administration is accredited by the AACSB. Rider University
