    Please see an invitation below for a reception honoring NMSU and AoM indigenous scholars.

    Would you please pass along an invitation to our GDO and indigenous colleagues to join us for a reception honoring New Mexico State University and Academy of Management indigenous scholars.

    THE NMSU "TRIBE" GATHERS AGAIN!

    Why: To celebrate our New Mexico State University community of scholars
         AND       To celebrate our Tribal Management degree option

    Who: NMSU "Tribe" including all business alumni, students, & faculty (past & present)
    Special Guests: Native American business students and faculty
                   (Note: for many years our PhD students called themselves "the tribe".)

    What: Food, fellowship, and cash bar

    Interviews Being Scheduled re Business Education for Tribal Peoples

    If you are a Native American colleague considering attending the AoM meeting, OR if you are a colleague involved with teaching and/or research regarding business education for tribal peoples, we would like to interview you (at a convenient time during the conference, for about 30 min) about your views on business education for tribal peoples.

    Some Financial Assistance Available
    If you would like to attend the conference and participate in the reception, interviews, and perhaps attend the Academy session on indigenous education issues (by Boje, Rosile, TwoTrees, and Gladstone in the ODC division, Wed Aug 13, 10-noon), NMSU's Digital Pathways grant may be able to assist you with some of your Academy of Management expenses.     Virtual Participation for Those Not Attending
    If you are not attending the AoM meeting and would like to participate in our project regarding business education for tribal peoples, please do contact Grace Ann Rosile (garosile@nmsu.edu ) and/or Joe Gladstone (joeg@nmsu.edu ) so that we can visit you or schedule a virtual interview via SKYPE or phone .
