Hello GDO Colleagues.
We are recruiting for a new chaired professorship at the University of
North Carolina at Greensboro: The Forsyth Medical Center Distinguished
Professorship in healthcare management. The faculty member in this
distinguished professorship would teach at the graduate level, serve on
doctoral committees, and lead the Bryan School’s development of a
healthcare management program. The medical community has demonstrated its
interest in and support for UNCG by funding this position and the Bryan
School has recruited the first faculty member in this area, Dr. Terrie
Reeves, who joins us this fall.
UNCG has both a strong intellectual community as well as a positive,
supportive work climate. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of
Teaching has classified UNCG as a research university with “high research
activity”. In addition, the Chronicle of Higher Education announced
several weeks ago its list of Best Universities to Work For and UNCG won

htm Greensboro is a great place to live with vibrant cultural and
recreational opportunities, a very reasonable cost of living and driving
access to both the mountains and the ocean.
