FACULTY POSITION
ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR
The Richard Ivey School of Business is recognized worldwide for the
quality of its management education and research. The School’s major
activities include: a highly regarded MBA program and undergraduate
program; a well established doctoral program active in most major areas of
management; as well as, an expanding portfolio of programs for executives,
including an Executive MBA delivered in Canada and Hong Kong. The School
is internationally oriented in terms of curricula, research, faculty, and
student exchanges.
The School is located in London, Ontario, a community of 340,000
equidistant from Toronto and Detroit. The Canadian Executive MBA
facilities are located at the Exchange Tower in downtown Toronto. The
Asia campus is located at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
The School is part of a larger University community with approximately
29,000 full-time students.
The School seeks candidates for an open-rank (Assistant, Associate or
Full) tenure-track appointment in the area of Organizational Behaviour.
Candidates whose research and teaching interests concern careers and
career development are particularly encouraged to apply, however, we are
interested in strong candidates specializing in any aspect of
organizational behavior. This position is available to begin in July 2009.
Applications with especially strong research and teaching records will be
considered for a tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor position.
Due to the School’s significant presence in executive programs, tenured
faculty members are expected to teach in programs for senior managers. A
Limited Term, Visiting, tenured Associate Professor or Professor
appointment will also be considered.
This position is subject to budget approval. All qualified candidates are
