    Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of prepping a Masters-Level diversity course and I'm
having difficulty finding a textbook. My dilemma is that the available
textbooks seem to geared toward an (a) undergraduate student or (b)
doctoral student audience. I solicit your input as to some diversity
texts that are appropriate for Masters-level, practitioner-oriented
learners, while containing a thorough scientific grounding. Thanks in
advanced for your assistance. Take care!!!

    Hello Patrick,
I don't know if you have already reviewed it or if it has already been suggested to you, but I suggest Dr. Myrtle P. Bell's textbook.  It's called "Diversity in Organizations."  It's published by Thomson Higher Education (2007).

    Hi Patrick,

I second Oscar's recommendation of Myrtle Bell's textbook. I've used it in my both my undergraduate and MBA classes since Fall 2007 and I love it!  One of the reasons it stood out for me was the inclusion of numerous statistics and EEOC cases to ground our class discussions.  I have also found the Harvey & Allard (2008) "Understanding and Managing Diversity" quite useful.

    Best,

    Hazel-Anne
