Director of Equity and Diversity
Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the Director for Equity and Diversity serves as the chief diversity officer for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, responsible for institutional compliance with federal, state, and local statutes relating to civil rights. This position collaborates with a broad range of campus entities in the development and implementation of programs to promote the institutional values of equity, diversity and inclusion. QUALIFICATIONS: Master's or professional degree required in Human Resources, Business Management, Higher Education Leadership, Psychology, Law or related field. Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in higher education administration or related field, which includes a background in employee relations/human resources, affirmative action, EEO compliance and diversity programming.
